There is a reason this place has a wait list that shuts down because it's filled up so early. You have extremely reasonable prices for fresh fish that is incredibly high quality and carefully plated. It's also not a very large space for how popular it is. Located in an unassuming area, I almost thought I got the directions wrong. We went fairly early so could avoid the long wait even though the wait list was closed.
Every single thing I had was amazing from the uni, to the fatty tuna, sashimi, nigiri etc it all just melted in my mouth. They even had things like monk fish liver which you don't see as often. The baked green muscles were unlike any I have had at other spot, they also had other seafood in the sauce they topped it with and they were cut in half so it was easy to eat them. Perfectly cooked too. Shoshito peppers were even done in way that was addictive.
If I'm ever back in town this place is a must to visit again. The service was fast and attentive, great options on the menu, and amazing quality with prices you don't see these days with how bad inflation has gotten. They really are worth the extra effort to get a spot to dine.
